Inspired by the moment in spring when, after a long hard winter, new petals burst forth from a flower bud, this pair of stainless steel candleholders have a fresh and bright quality. The sculptural forms make a strong impact on a dining table or window sill and the shiny polished surface reflects the light, giving a real sense of movement to the pieces. Danish-born Helle Damkjær approaches her designs in a very particular manner, creating each piece meticulously in clay to ensure the exact shape she wants, before transferring it to the real material. This allows her work to have a distinctive warmth and softness in form which goes some way to explain the universal success of her Bloom collection for Georg Jensen. This pair of candleholders is expertly crafted from stainless steel before being given a mirror-polished finish. Materials: Mirror polished stainless steel Measurements: H: 200 mm / 7.87 inches.
