Capturing the optimism of a new spring as we head out of a long dark winter, the steel vase looks as beautiful when empty as it does when full of fresh flowers, making it a versatile styling piece around the home. Danish-born designer Helle Damkjær revels in the craft and artistry of her work, creating each product by hand in clay before being satisfied that the shape is exactly right. This gives a particular warmth to every piece and the Bloom collection is a case in point, with its soft organic forms being some of Georg Jensen’s most loved.
